They are clear/transparent/see-through with black smooth rounded plastic lid. Jar lids are interchangeable and fit 8 ounce, 12 ounce and 16 ounce jars. Jars stack together. Lids are unlined dome lids (foam lining can be intrusive and hard to clean).
