- REDUCES HAZE - Our Whirlfloc Tablets contain a blend of Irish Moss and purified carrageenan that work to help draw haze-causing proteins and beta glucans out of suspension. The result of this process is a clearer looking finished beer.
- INGREDIENTS - Irish Moss is known as a kettle fining derived from seaweed, that enhances cold break in the kettle for clearer beer. Carrageenan is a seaweed extract that bonds to proteins, making it great for removing proteins from a homebrewed beer.
- HOW TO USE - On brew day, use half a tablet per 5 gallons and add to wort at 5 minutes left in the boil to reduce haze and clarify beer. Whirlfloc is not recommended for beers that are intentionally hazy.
