- Built-In Rev Limit Protection - In addition to an easy install and precise timing, the XR-I Points Conversion Module ensures your engine will not over-rev in the event of a driveline failure or a missed shift.

Crane Cams XR-i Ignition System for Ford features Crane optical trigger conversion kits. They are designed to convert a points-type distributor into a precision optically triggered system. They feature stable timing with precise settings, eliminate spark scatter for greater energy, and allow the use of a CD ignition box. They require the use of an installation kit, which is sold separately.
