- 【Crane Katana】 The Crane Katana is a hand forged, full tang Japanese katana built on a 28.75-inch 1045 Carbon Steel blade, balanced for a two-handed grip at 40.5 inches overall.
- 【Hand-Tempered Blade & Edge】 The 1045 Carbon Steel blade is heat-tempered to draw out a soft wavy temper line along the functional edge, then finished to an edge suited to dojo practice. A bo-hi groove is cut down each side of the blade to lighten it and improve its balance in the hand.
- 【Tsuba & Rayskin Handle】 The mounting is led by a black iron openwork (sukashi) flying-crane tsuba, while the handle is wood over white rayskin (samegawa), wrapped in black cotton ito with menuki and a brass habaki.
- 【Full Tang & Specifications】 The full tang is secured with bamboo mekugi, and the blade rests in an oxblood, reddish-brown glossy lacquered wood saya with a black sageo; blade 28.75 in, handle 10.75 in, overall 40.5 in.
- 【What's in the Box】 In the box you receive the katana, its oxblood saya (scabbard), a protective sword bag, and a packaging tube; a display stand is not included.
