Even out of the box, this is the best megaminx on the market. It's smaller (which some people may prefer, others may not prefer) and its lighter, and it has much better performance, than the original Galaxy. It's great that it comes with black tiles, because that let me actually take apart all of the pieces and rebuild it with my megaminx color scheme, which you normally can only do on stickered cubes. The sculpted tiles make grip a lot easier. I put a little bit of Traxxas 30K on the core and some Silk and 30K on the pieces and it performs and feels a lot better and more fluid. One problem with this cube is that the only way to put in magnets is either magnetize the centers and edges or drill holes in the edges and corners, which I don't really care about, but other people probably do. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a really great megaminx, but not a magnetic one.
