The meter needs independent power supply(DC 3.5-30V). When the black wire and red wire are connected to the power supply, the meter will display 0.000 (when the measuring wire(yellow wire) is dangling, the meter will display one or two base). Then yellow wire and black wire can be connected to the measurement circuit. The measured voltage range is DC 0-33.000V.
