The Dake Cut 250 model manual cold saw uses up to 10" circular cold saw blades, has a 1.2 hp motor, and mounts on an included pedestal that houses a built-in coolant tank and pump. The blade rotates at 44 rpm. The saw head pivots up and down to cut, and rotates 45 degrees to the right and left of center for miter cuts. The saw drive has an oversized steel spindle and a tapered bronze roller bearing gear assembly for heavy-duty use. The hardened and ground spindle shaft has ball bearing support for reliability. The saw is wired for single-phase, 110 volt AC operation.

Cold saws are machines used to cut metal with reduced temperature distortion.
