This dry mix is an easy and quick to mix and apply for general wall and ceiling repairs; formula sets quickly within 20 to 30 minutes without shrinking, and applies evenly and smoothly to your walls or for use with hobby crafts or making DIY version of chalk finish paint). < ; < /; All you need alongside your Plastic of Paris is clean water, a clean mixing container or bucket, putty knife or trowel, and sandpaper or a sponge. To apply to desired surface that needs repair, clean and moisten the surface spot(s) with a damp sponge or cloth; fill up your bucket with 6 ounces of cool water; and then add about 1 pound of the dry Plaster of Paris into the water and mix it up with your choice of tool. Plaster should slowly turn into a smooth, creamy and durable paste (that is ready to use on your drywalls).
