**Dec 2019 UPDATE**
The Fokker Dr. coloring have been updated to match its historic model which has a orange-reddish hue due to the constant exposure to the sun. At Daron, we want our Postage Stamp models to be as close to the historic version as possible.
The Fokker Dr.I served in the German Air Force (Luftstreitkrafte) during the 1st World War. This tri-plane gave the German Air Force an airplane with great maneuverability and a high rate of climb. The Fokker Dr.I was flown by German fighter ace Manfred von Richthofen, best known as the "Red Baron". The plane had a 110-hp cylinder rotary engine, with a max speed of 115 mph and carried two Spandau MG 08 7.92-mm synchronized machine guns.
