- Typically used on a patio door rail that is 1/8 inch thick
- Reversible for left or right sliding windows
- Thumb turn screw locks the window
- Extruded aluminum painted white
- Locks window in a closed or partial open position for ventilation
This anti-lift out sliding window lock is constructed of extruded aluminum with a steel thumbscrew, and it comes in a white painted finish. The design of this lock is manufactured to fit on older style, metal framed windows – usually of single pane glass. For a secure hold, finish by tightening thumbscrew with pliers for a sure grip in closed or ventilating positions. These locks are reversible and can be used on both left and right-handed sliding window panels. They are easy to install and are used by many to increase the security of their home. *Note: This anti-lift out bar lock is not for use on vinyl windows.
