- PEN BLANKS FOR WOODTURNING: 2 Native Texas Mesquite wood pen blanks and 2 deer antler pen blanks. Antler pieces are 4 inches long and the mesquite blanks are 1” x 0.75” x 4”
- MADE FROM TEXAS WHITETAIL OR AXIS DEER - We make deer antler pens ourselves so we know that these blanks are ideal for making pens, letter openers, magnifying glasses, etc.
- EASY TO DRILL - These big blanks are easy to drill and provide plenty of material to practice on before you start shaping your pen.
- ANTLER IS HARDER THAN WOOD - Antler is a harder material than wood so use sharp tools and go slow. Carbide-cutting tools work well with these blanks.
- MESQUITE BLANKS - Mesquite wood often has knots or fissures that respond well to filling with powdered stone or turquoise to create a stunning pen.
