The Flatliners, although just out of high school, have been ripping up the ska-punk scene since 2002 with their own brand of skunk rawk. Their sound is best described as two-tone ska mixed with brain-hemorrhaging punk to make one lethal dose of in-your-face fun! With three releases under their belts, including an early demo, a four-way split combining the extremes of Toronto ska-punk, and this long awaited full-length, The Flatliners have proven to be one of the most prolific bands to come out of the Toronto punk scene.

In the vein of The Clash, Operation Ivy, and Rancid, The Flatliners’ sound has developed over the years from simplistic, raw tunes to fast-paced, politically-charged ska-punk with attitude. During early 2003, the band was given a big helping hand by an interview on Much Music’s Punk Show. Since then, they have appeared on numerous college and mainstream radio shows (including a Top Pick for 2004 nod from 102.1 The Edge’s Punk-O-Rama), appeared on various compilations, and been featured in magazines ranging from local print to nationally distributed publications such as Exclaim.

The Flatliners have only just begun their assault on the world. Get ready for hell, ‘cause they’re carrying on the torch of ska-punk with full force.
