Mid Hanger for Oval Closet Rod (15mm x 30mm) | Polished Chrome | 1 Pack
- OVAL RODS ONLY - Please note that this product is intended for 15mm x 30mm (+- 9/16" x 1 1/8") oval rods ONLY. It will NOT work on ROUND rods!
- 1 PIECE DESIGN – We take molten zinc alloy and cast it as a single, seamless little work of art. Any small ridges where the 2 halves of the mold met are hand grinded off resulting in zero imperfections.
- AMAZING FINISH – Each mid hanger is then hand machined until it’s “baby’s bottom” smooth. It then receive a generous chrome plating.
- WHEN TO USE THEM – If you have an average amount of clothes, you can usually get away without a mid hanger on lengths up to 48”. From 48” to 60”, it really depends on how packed the closet is. For lengths over 60”, a mid hanger is usually recommended. Pro tip: if you’re not sure, you can always install the rod by itself and add the mid hanger later if need be.

As robust as our closet rods are, if you have an extra wide span and/or some especially heavy coats to hang, you might need a little more support. That's where D.H.S. Mid Supports come in. They're made of metal and feature the same beautiful chrome finish as our closet rods.
Installation Tips
Be sure to install the end supports for your closet first, but because this mid support has a fixed height. So just make sure the end supports are placed so that the bottom of the rod winds up 2 11/16" below the bottom of the shelf. Once the ends are secured, just thread the rod through the mid support before putting it in place. Then, after the shelf is installed, just slide the mid support to the desired location and secure it to the underside of the shelf with the provided screws... Done!
