One #6262 High Torque Quartz Clock Movement/Motor with a total shaft length of 3/4", and a threaded shaft of 1/2", therefore, we suggest that the thickness of your dial or clock's face cannot be more than 7/16" so there will be enough space to screw the nut unto the shaft to hold your dial/face in place. If you need other shafts then visit our other listings we have 1/4" and 3/4" shafts. This kit includes a black metal hour and minute hands (no second hand) that are longer than the average hands (see size below). The hands have a lovely Big Ben clock design, very light metal, and comes with a plastic protection film that you peel off. Also comes with an instruction sheet. Requires one AA battery to operate (not included). Now you can make that large clock with this high torque quartz motor (ultra quiet) and 8-3/4" metal balanced hands. This is a continuous motion high torque movement, no stepping/advancing of gears, super quiet. This motor is strong enough to push longer hands, works with our hands up to 14" long.
