Narvel Felts started his professional career in 1956, making his first studio recordings in 1957 at 706 Union Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee for Sun with Jack Clement producing. From these sessions, Did You Tell Me (aka You Don't Care) and My Babe have become rockabilly favorites. His Mercury sessions from 1957 and 1958 produced his first released items, Kiss-A-Me-Baby, Foolish Thoughts and the storming sax-led instrumental Rocket Ride. 1959 and 1960 saw Narvel's first chart success with Three Thousand Miles and Honey Love on Pink. All the Sun, Mercury, and Pink masters have been assembled alongside the 1960 MGM session for this new CD that features all the early studio cuts of Narvel Felts.
