The DoorSmoocher is a child baby and pet safety lock designed to latch single and double sliding pocket doors and swing doors. Ideal for helping protect kids and pet like cats and dogs, the lock can be placed high up, out of the reach. The DoorSmoocherTM is easy to install, will not damage the door face, and most importantly will help prevent toddlers and your cats and dogs from getting into areas that could be dangerous or that you just want to keep them out of. The product is a great alternative to damaging hook and eye hardware or putting an expensive baby gate in the doorway. Fits standard size interior doors up to 1 1/2 inches. Requires placement of 2 screws in door and 2 in door frame but will not damage face of door. The DoorSmoocher will lock the door and your existing lock may not work while the Door Smoocher is installed. Your pocket door will recess all the way back except for about 1".
