Drill America m8 X 1.25 Carbon Steel Tap Set (Set of 3), DWT Series
- Used to re-thread damaged and/or jammed threads
- Carbon Steel Hand Taps may also be used to thread mild steels
- Carbon steel Hand Taps come in three styles: Taper Style: Starts the thread square with the workpiece. Plug Style: Generally used in thru holes. Bottom Style: Generate the thread to the bottom of the hole.
- Straight flute tools allow chips to collect in the flutes as they cut and are well suited for most applications in shallow cuts
- Uncoated tools feature just the base substrate without any additional treatment or coatings and are suitable for a wide range of applications
