- Optimizes pressure redistribution with a new convoluted foam topper that vastly improves patient comfort and air circulation
- 15 full length "head-to-toe" gel bladders cover entire patient contact area to minimize "bottoming out" and "pitting" and provide designated head and foot sections
- Water resistant and vapor permeable urethane coated nylon cover with a waterproof and stain resistant vinyl base and 4 elastic corner straps to secure overlay to mattress
- Bladders contain an aqueous non-toxic gel and polystyrene beads
- Weight Capacity: 500 lbs; Dimensions: 76"(L) x 42"(W) x 3.5"(H)
- Meets flammability standard TB117
The new and improved Drive Medical Premium Guard Gel Foam Overlay optimizes pressure redistribution and comfort in the prevention, treatment and management of pressure ulcers. The new design ideally combines 15 gel bladders, high density foam shell and a vinyl support base. The improved design decreases the migration of the gel layer, so patient won't bottom out and the convoluted, egg crate, foam, top layer provides vastly improved comfort.
