- Zinc metal has good ductility, wear resistance, castability and good mechanical properties at room temperature, and can be made into alloys with various metals with excellent properties.
- Conductivity: High-purity zinc rods have good electrical conductivity, which makes them one of the most important raw materials for making electronic components.
- Machinability: High-purity zinc rods have good machinability properties, even at room temperature, and can be machined and fabricated to obtain the desired shape and size.
- Zinc has a melting point of 419.5°C. Zinc has suitable mechanical properties. zinc itself is not very strong or hard, but the addition of alloying elements such as aluminium and copper gives it a strength and hardness of 135 (142) pm atomic radius (calc) and 131 pm covalent radius.
- Zinc has a wide range of applications and plays an important role in electronic components, solar panels, the chemical industry and more.
