The 1 3/4" diameter is designed for Dance Studios. It will require a thicker diameter dowel/barre. The surface is powder coated with a Beautiful Dark Antique Bronzed Texture. It will fit aesthetically in any studios. All the corners are rounded to give a smooth and subtle appearance to blend into the surrounding. It is very sturdy and built with quality in mind. We offer 1 years warranty behind our work.

This listing is for ONE bracket only, You must have minimum of 2 brackets to support a barre. This bracket will fit wood rod/dowel that is approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. This is a very typical ballet barre diameter.

In general, if the wooden rod span is up to 7 feet long, then 2 of this bracket is enough. If the wood rod span is 8 to 12 feet, we suggest using 3 brackets (one on each end and one in the center.)

4' Barre: 2 brackets spaced 32" apart (8" overhang)
6' Barre: 2 brackets spaced 48" apart (12" overhang)
8' Barre: 2 brackets spaced 64" apart (16" overhang)
10' Barre: 2 brackets spaced 80" apart (20" overhang)
14' Barre: 3 brackets, 1 centered with 64" space on each side (20" overhang)
16' Barre: 3 brackets, 1 centered with 80" space on each side (16" overhang)
