The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer is turning convention on its head. Intelligent heat control helps prevent extreme heat damage to protect natural shine. Air temperature is measured 20 times every second by a glass bead thermistor thermal sensor, keeping the temperature under control. A microprocessor in the head intelligently controls the heating elements using data from the thermistor. Four precise heat settings ranging from 28°C to 100°C. Ultra-fast drying controlled, high-velocity airflow of 41L per second with 3 precise speed settings. Using Air Multiplier technology, the volume of air drawn in is amplified by 3 times, producing a high-pressure jet of air. Powered by the Dyson digital motor V9, with 13 impeller blades spinning at up to 110,000 rpm.
