E028 Splash is a hypoallergenic, ready-to-drink, amino acid-based medical food for individuals over the age of 1. Amino acid-based formulas, also known as elemental formulas, are made from individual amino acids instead of whole protein. Amino acids are the most basic form of protein, and are easy for the body to absorb. E028 Splash is the only flavored elemental formula that's ready to drink. Preparation:
Shake before use. If taken orally, E028 Splash is best served chilled. May be administered as a tube feed. Do not use a microwave oven to warm E028 Splash.
Storage:
Store unopened product in a cool, dry place. Once opened, E028 Splash should be stored in a refrigerator and kept no longer than 24 hours. Do not freeze E028 Splash.
