- NO AMBIENT LIGHT INTERFERENCE || Flat black finish over entire power supply eliminates ambient light from effecting experimental outcomes and spectra
- SIMPLIFIED OPERATION || An on/off toggle switch with pilot light is built into the 15"H x 4.75"W x 3.5"D unit. Includes a 6-foot grounded power cord
EISCO spectrum tube power supply is used to operate spectrum tubes. The power supply has a casing that holds a 26.0cm (L) spectrum tube securely in place, and prevents the user from touching the electrodes (tubes sold separately). The power supply’s flat black finish helps to eliminate ambient light in order to prevent impact to experimental outcomes. The power supply has shielded and spring-loaded tube sockets for inserting and taking out tubes while preventing breakage, and an on-off toggle switch for ease of use. The supply operates on 110-115V AC, and measures 37.5cm (H). (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.) The supply is suitable for high school or college students, or ages 13 to 21.
