EISCO human upper triple root molar with caries model is used for dental study, and is 15x life size for display of dental structures. The model has two longitudinal sections that expose the crown, roots, and pulp cavity, and is hand painted for accurate representation. The molar is numbered, and includes a key card for identifying features. The model is mounted on a base for display, and is made of durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic-coated fiberglass. PVC plastic is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength, resisting reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Fiberglass contains many extremely fine glass fibers in a plastic composite, and is commonly used for its strength, nonreactivity, and to insulate against sound, heat, and electricity. The model measures approximately 13.0 x 13.0 x 23.0cm (L x W x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; W is width, the horizontal distance from front to back; H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.) The model is suitable for high school or college students, or ages 13 to 21.
