DIY Diagnosis: Read, interpret, and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from your vehicle’s systems, including engine, transmission, ABS, and more. Each code includes a fault description to help identify the root cause of issues—empowering you to troubleshoot confidently and perform basic maintenance without a mechanic.
Supported Software: FORScan (download separately from their official sites; setup may vary by vehicle and tool). For diagnostic use only; does not modify emissions systems.
Not Compatible: Mazda 7th Gen (Mazda 3, CX-30, CX-50, CX-60, MX-30, etc.) and joint-venture models using non-Ford protocols (e.g., Ford Galaxy Mk2 by VW, Ford Ka Mk2 by Fiat, Ford Explorer EV CX740 by VW, Ford Territory CX743 by JAC).
💡 QUICK FIX: If Forscan/Computer can’t find your cable, try lowering the COM port number in Device Manager. (eg. COM10 to COM2). If the drivers don’t auto-install, manually install the FTDI driver to ensure detection.
