Description
- The carbon fiber reinforced, polymer matrix, composite dome ensures extraordinary rigidity combined with very low weight
- The large 50 mm aluminum voice coil allows the use of higher power for this kind of component
- Uses a very large, vented neodymium motor magnet optimized with computer simulations for greater efficiency and improved linearity along the voice coil’s excursion
- All motor parts are CNC‑machined for tighter tolerances and improved performance
- Axial and radial ventilation ensures high power handling, reduced distortion, and increased durability
- Special acoustic resistance helps to control the midrange Ots; residual resonances are neutralized by the under‑dome dB Cloth damping material, extending frequency response and reducing harmonic distortion
- The faceplate can be removed and replaced with an adapter for rear mount installation
