The TE-407 is powered by a pair of active humbuckers, with an EMG 60 in the neck position and an EMG 81 in the bridge. These pickups are ideal for today's players, who demand both heavy power chords and shredding solos. The simplified controls include a master volume for each pickup, and a single master tone control. The bolt-on maple neck has been carved into an ultra-fast thin profile and topped with 22 Extra Jumbo frets on a rosewood fingerboard for extremely fast playability and effortless string-bending. Blacked out hardware on the TE-406 includes nickel tuners and an LTD Fixed bridge with string thru body design that will stabilize tuning and withstand anything you can dish out.
