This stand works great! My desk has been a mess with my monitors not fitting quite right because my current desk is very small. It's very durable and is made entirely from pretty strong steel and the base is very hefty. I had no worries at all that my monitors were going to fall. I currently am still shopping around for a suitable fourth monitor, so for the time being I only have 3. I can easily fit a 27' in the center and two 23.5' monitors on the side.
The sides don't droop at all, and it was generally easy enough to get up and running. The instructions were pretty awful, and the packaging was the worst I've ever seen something be packaged in, but it came safe and working. You definitely have to use a little intuition on how it goes together, and it is going to be a little frustrating aligning everything perfectly, but that's not the stand's fault. Once you have your monitors how you like them, just tighten everything up and it will stay like that very securely.
For the Price, it gets the job done. It was a lot bigger than I had realized so I had to move some things around to get it to work for me. I have my desk in a corner and the bar that holds the three monitors is static so you can only push it so far back into a corner before you hit the walls. I ended up pulling the desk about 4 inches out of the corner so that I could have room for my keyboard and mouse and other stuff. This was also necessary so that the monitors wouldn't be right in my face. Something to consider if you have a corner desk.
I dinged a star for ease of use. Overall it was easy to put together, but adjusting it so that the monitors line up properly takes a lot of tinkering. I also wish that the top monitor came out a bit more. It sits about 3 inches further back than the bottom three.
I have three acer 24 inch monitors (16:10) and one LG monitor on top. It is a 31 inch 17:9 (4096x2160). It has lots of room to spare on top. I could nearly...
so simply I'll break this down into pros and cons.
Pros: - sturdy build and looks amazing - wasn't that bad of a build but did take a bit of tinkering to figure out how to get to the nut that controls the monitor tilt on the arms.
Cons: - this thing is heavy, however that was to be expected so I had a few friends come over to move it to where it was to be placed after building it. - the monitors DO NOT line up when hanging on the arms, I have not contacted the company yet about this but that is rather annoying especially when I'm trying to have this set up for gaming and extreme multitasking this is why it is...
