- The shallow 2.67 in. (68mm) mounting depth allows for flexible placement options, providing more bass from less space with less power than conventional subwoofer designs
- The 10-inch SWS features a ribbed and inverted polypropylene cone, fastened high-temperature aluminum dust cap and voice coil, high roll pressed-foam surround, spider assembly, and a strong ferrite magnet
- A sealed enclosure with an internal volume of 0.38 cu. ft. (10.76L) minimum and 0.75 cu. ft. (21.23L) maximum is recommended

The Earthquake SWS (Shallow Woofer System) provides more sound from less space with less power than any other woofer technology. The SWS design moves the flexible suspension components (cone and spider) to the side allowing the motor to be elevated. This reduces the mounting depth of the speaker while enhancing excursion capability. More excursion (woofer movement) equals more sound. The Earthquake Sound SWS series will play louder and more accurate audio while using less power and taking up less space than any other woofer on the planet.
