The Easton MAKO Youth, THE glove in Williamsport this year, was designed to perform from the inside out. Like all of the MAKO gloves, the MAKO Youth focuses on fast hands, premium materials, ergonomic construction, and internal design features that allow Youth ball players to react quicker in the biggest of moments. Each glove is constructed from a combination of JPro Cowhide and lightweight polyurethane. By using JPro Cowhide for the majority of the glove, Easton was able to use less material - reducing the overall weight and improving fielders' reaction time. This high strength hide is also oil-tanned and tumbled soft for a perfectly game-ready feel that speeds up break-in. And to further optimize the balance of each glove, polyurethane is strategically inserted into the glove in place of leather in what Easton calls their HYPERLITE Design - allowing players to gain total control over their equipment in the field. The MAKO Youth Series offers a Youth fit with smaller hand openings and narrow finger stalls, and they are extremely comfortable to wear with their Oiled HOG HIDE Palm and Super Soft Spong-Tricot Finger Linings.
