This red Mailbox Extender Tray allows the mailbox to be further from the curb to reduce damage from vehicles. Easily slides in and out of the mailbox to allow easy access to mail - no more straining to reach mail at the back of the mailbox. Extender is approximately 6" wide, 7-1/4" tall, and 18-1/2" deep. Snaps easily into most #1 size rural mailboxes with interior dimensions of 6-1/4" wide, 7-1/2" tall, 18-3/4" deep. NOTE: If your mailbox flag mount protrudes inside the mailbox interior (please see picture), the mailbox extender tray will NOT WORK without modification of the flag mount or the extender tray. NOTE: You must measure YOUR existing mailbox to ensure that this item will fit YOUR mailbox - as it ONLY fits into certain mailboxes.
