- [UniA Joystick Heating Plate] – Desolder the whole thumbsticks module off controller PCB with a normal soldering iron. With as many as 14 prongs, removing the problem stick is the most difficult task. An CNCed copper plate melts all the solder joints simultaneously. It makes it possible to remove the entire joystick at one time. There’re 3 different models for sticks in different dimensions: UniA, UniB and X360
- [Choose the Correct Model] – UniA is for the normal joysticks made by ALPS, FU and other 3rd party widely used in most wired and wireless controllers: PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Elite and Series S|X, Switch Pro and most others. While UniB is slightly larger than UniA, it was found in some PDP, Power-A, Hori and BDA controllers. X360 is way larger which was found in Xbox 360 and some Logitech controllers. 🔺Please study the images and teardown your controller, measure the stick before ordering
- [Some Helping Tools included] – Multi gauge wires included that performs better than typical solder wick. Tin the wire, cut it to form a sharp tip, puncture the tip into the small hole to suck the solder in the small holes. Also included is the simple PCB clamps which helps to support the PCB on the workbench. 🔺Be noticed: Do not position the clamps close to hot joystick, or it will melt
- [What’s in Package] – 1x Heating Plate, 1x Teflon Pad, 1x Solder Remover Wire, 4x PCB clamps. (🔺Notes: Your soldering station should be more than 60Watt and with a big tip. The soldering iron and other soldering materials are required but NOT included!)
