Elga LC118 UV Lamp, For Water Purification Unit

The Elga LC118 UV lamp is used with Elga water purification units as a bactericide and to break down and photo-oxidize organic contaminants to polar or ionized species. At low doses the UV (ultraviolet) bactericidal action prevents replication by damaging DNA and RNA polymerase. Higher doses of UV light are biocidal. The UV lamp is designed for use with the following Elga water purification units: Elga Centra R 60/120, Maxima MK1/MK2, Pure lab Option-Q, Pure lab Ultra Mk1, and Pure lab Ultra Mk2.
