The RX-500 is a Ballistic Vo rated full lens magnification safety glass. With over 50mm diameter magnifying lens, the RX500 magnifies the entire work area. Elvex was the first to introduce the bifocal safety glass design. With the introduction of the RX-500, Elvex is now the first company to introduce a full lens ballistic rated safety glass. This model adds a new level of wrap around protection in a full lens magnification design. When compared to conventional bifocal design, the RX-500 reduces eye strain and fatigue by not having magnification placed at the bottom or top of the eye wear.
