- BEGINNER MODEL-ROCKET-BUILDING KIT: This Estes rocket-building kit offers adults and kids ages 10+ the chance to easily snap together and blast off our 2169 Dragonite rocket model. It includes the rocket parts, design decals, a recovery parachute, and instructions. It requires rocket engines, Starters, Recovery Wadding, a launch pad system, and 4 high-quality 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries for launch use (sold separately).
- SOARS UP TO 925 FT.: Our 2169 Dragonite model rocket is made with a high-performance flight profile, a 16-inch height, a 12-inch parachute, and a projected altitude of 925 ft. (282 m) on a C6-7 Estes rocket engine (sold separately). It is also compatible with A8-3, B4-4, B6-4, and C6-5 rocket engines.

Mission Control
The Dragonite requires an Estes Launch System and Estes engines for the launch (not included). Estes A8-3, B4-4, B6-4, C6-5 or C6-7 engines are recommended for all missions. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction and finishing supplies sold separately. In order to launch, a launch system, model rocket engines, igniters, recovery wadding and four 'AA' alkaline batteries are required â€“ sold separately unless otherwise specified. Read all instructions before beginning. Make sure you have all parts and supplies required. Test fit all parts before applying glue. Sand as necessary for precision assembly. Product color and shape may vary. When launching, stand back as far as the launch controller cord will allow (15 feet). Rocketry is not intended for indoor use. Choose a large field (500 feet), free of dry weeds and brown grass. Launch only with little or no wind and good visibility.
