  • INTERMEDIATE MINI MODEL-ROCKET-BUILDING KIT: The Estes Mini Max launch set offers kids ages 10+ and rocketeer enthusiasts a miniature hands-on challenge that retains the charms of the iconic original. It includes rocket parts, design decals, a recovery streamer, launch apd system, and instructions. Each model requires Estes rocket engines, starters, recovery wadding, and 4 high-quality 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries (sold separately).
  • SOARS UP TO 300 FT.: The Mini Max model rocket features a bold design inspired by the classic Der Red Max style. It stands approximately 8.78" tall and reaches a projected altitude of 300 ft. (91 m) when powered by an A10-3T Estes rocket engine (sold separately). It is also compatible with 1/2A3-2T and A3-4T rocket engines.
  • READY TO ASSEMBLE: This intermediate model kit requires about 2 hours of assembly time, offering a rewarding build-and-launch project for young learners. Then pair it with the included Mini Launch System.
  • SAFETY FIRST, FUN ALWAYS: Our rockets and rocket launch accessories are designed to be used with the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code. Always ensure you have an appropriate launch site, stand back at least 15 ft., insert the safety key, issue a countdown, and then you can let your rocket fly!
