Euthanasia is one of the most complex contemporary medical, ethical, moral and social hot issues that is very emotionally charged. It is an issue that re-surfaced following the advent of medical technology that enables health professionals to prolong life, coupled with changing of community values.
It is very unfortunate that the scarcity of information , the lack of civil coherent discourse on euthanasia and the attempt to heavily politicize it, while the true nature, complications & its consequences are almost never mentioned.
