  • 13" MX5 Hybrid Marching Snare Bottom head is made using a 5mil think aramid fiber/polyester laminate
  • Produces that sought after drum corps sound while providing maximum snare response
  • Produces a more crisp snare response than a standard Kevlar bottom head
  • Projects in the largest of stadiums while controlled in the indoor environment
  • All Evans drum heads are designed, engineered and manufactured in the USA

The thin 5mil aramid fiber/polyester laminant gives the MX5 maximum snare response and superior durability, while a thin polyester overtone control ring reinforces the edge durability and elimiinates unwanted overtones, further enhancing articulation.
