Face To Face (Bonus Tracks Edition)

The third and last album of GQ,Face To Face, was originally from the autumn of 1981. On this album the three originally members Emanuel Raheim Le Blanc (Lead Vocals / Rhythm Guitar), Herb Lane (Keyboards / Vocals) and Keith Crier (Bass / Vocals) where assisted by other artists like Ralph McDonald (Percussion), Howard King (Drums), Chris Parker (Drums), Ray Chew (String Arranger) and others. The producer on this album was Jimmy Simpson, just like on the two previous albums Disco Nights and Two. The original nine track album contains two tracks that were released as 12'' and 7'' singles originally on Arista Records. One of the midtempo tracks (and probably the best known track overall) is Shake, an absolute killer boogie tune. This album has never been released on CD before and is digitally remastered from the original master tapes for optimal sound quality.
