This insulated ladder features thick rubber gasket insulation between the boards that provides an R-Value of 5.9 to protect against heat loss.

The ladder and box frame are constructed of high-quality pine, and the hatch's unique opening mechanism ensures the ladder opens slowly. Once fully open, the mechanism will hold the hatch in position to prevent it from slamming shut.

The ladder comes in three sections, and the ladder steps feature grooves cut into the step surface to prevent accidental slippage.
