Freeze-Dried Salmon Burgers: Store Long-Term!
You'll be ready for anything with a food supply that will last and be there when you need it most. Our salmon burgers are freeze dried, so it can be stored long term and without needing refrigeration (lasts longer than dehydrated and traditional canned food!). Perfect for emergencies, just soak in water for 10-15 minutes, cook thoroughly, then enjoy.

Directions:
- Remove and discard desiccants and oxygen absorbers.
- Rehydrate salmon burgers as soon as the can is opened in water for 10-15 minutes to equilibrate moisture, then drain off excess water. (If any hard spots are felt, soak an additional 5 minutes. Burgers may be rehydrated in advance, drained, and refrigerated until cooking time.)
- Cook until the internal temperature reaches 160°F followed as standard by USDA and FSIS safety recommendations.
Note: Use enough water to cover the burger. Handle burgers carefully as they may break.
Once opened, they will last:
- Up to 1 year in a zipper locking bag with refrigeration once opened, but not rehydrated
- Up to 60 days in a zipper locking bag without refrigeration once opened, but not rehydrated
- Up to 5 days in the refrigerator once they're rehydrated
