Madame Pompadour

Leo Fall's (1873-1925) operetta Madame Pompadour is regarded as this composer's wittiest and most outstanding work of this genre. The action in Leo Fall's bold Berlin operetta focuses on the historical Marquise de Pompadour, the mistress of the French King Louis XV.
