Another great reference/ history work by Gerard Paloque. Not to be missed by the modeler or the WWII and Aviation Historian! Beautiful photos and color profiles to illustrate all the groups and wings of the 8th USAAF in Europe from 1942-45. I cannot find any fault with any of thes great entries in the Air Stories series from France. Perfectly translated and fully captioned in English. Amazon can help you add these books to your collection...if you are interested enough to read this far, you need to just go on and buy it! And see the other volumes in the series.
This book is a valuable addition to anyone's collection as a reference on the various aircraft flown by the Eighth Air Force fighter groups in WWII, and the evolution of group markings as the war progressed. As a builder of plastic models I will make good use of it when researching a plane I'm going to build.
Great stories and pictures, a must for any serious Avation History Library that gives a unique understanding of the air war over Europe.
