I have never read a patch work of authentic records and original source documents that clarifies the subject matter more concisely; revelations of family lineage in tracing ones Indian bloodlines are remarkable.

I am honored to give this book a very positive review because of its pure historical content; Mr. Vance Hawkins takes nothing for granted, does not make any assumptions, and allows historical records and documents to direct his writings and conclusions. I am also honored that Mr. Hawkins quoted my work several times throughout his book; I have read portions of the book several times and found it a learning experience for myself.

I love Vance Hawkins summarizing statement, â€œWe get whiter ever generationâ€¦soon our Indian blood will be forgotten utterly, erased like footprints in the snowâ€¦weâ€™ll likely be forgotten, too. So where is our Indian blood? It seems to be drying up, like a creek bed in the drought of the heat of the summer sun. But once upon aâ€¦â€ It is without hesitation that I highly recommend this book for those who want a document filled with truths, facts, and directions in â€œFinding Our Indian Blood.â€
