Five Passengers from Lisbon

Known as “America's Agatha Christie,” Eberhart was one of the founders of the modern romantic suspense novel and, unusual for the time, her mysteries featured female heroines. In "Five Passengers From Lisbon," the protagonist sees her dream of a sea voyage turned into a nightmare, a race against death, as murder stalks the ship. One man is stabbed and dies and another meets an even worse fate as the murderer gets ready to strike once more.
