Made of high carbon spring steel, the tool shank gives just enough to follow the contour of carving, eliminating the need to have a handful of traditional tools to finish a single profile. This unique material also contributes to its excellent edge holding capability as the shank is tempered like a spring while the tip is hardened to Rc 59-61, then hand honed and polished. The handles are ergonomically designed to increase the comfort and ease of use. Each tool is pre-sharpened and ready to use.
