Focal Polyglass 165 VR3 6.5-Inch 3-Way Component Speaker Kit
- Reduced mounting depth (1.5 inch) for installation in tight spaces
- 3 level adjustable tweeter level control
- Smooth and precise Aluminum/Magnesium inverted dome tweeter with controlled directivity
- Polyglass cone made from a layer hollow glass micro-spheres over a cellulose pulp which greatly increases the rigidity of the cone without adding weight
- Rigid and non-resonant Zamak cast alloy frame
The 165 VR3 is a 3-way speaker kit with a 6.5 inch woofer and a shallow mount (1.6 inch) 4 inch midrange from the Polyglass VR line of Focal speakers. Kit also includes a Aluminum/Magnesium inverted dome tweeter and a separate 12/12/12dB/octave crossover for highly precise tuning. The tweeter’s sound is smooth and precise with a surprisingly large center.
