About the Author Ivelin Stanchev is a self-taught food carving artist and decorator. Graduated from a Professional Culinary School, he started working as a chef around the world. His passion for carving sparked when he met a few Asian chefs at his work on the Cruise Ships back in early 2000s. He was amazed with their work and the simplicity of how to turn fruit or vegetable into art; and this grabbed his attention. A few years later he started to carve and soon became a professional artist. Together with the vegetables and fruit he also carves and sculpts soaps and pumpkins.
