The idea for our ankle band came when I was attempting to loose my baby weight after my first baby. My sweet husband got me a Fitbit Flex for my birthday. I loved it but was getting frustrated when getting back from my long daily walks only to realize that I didn't get credit on my Fitbit app for any of my hard work! I soon realized that the reason I wasn't getting any "steps" during my walks was that I was pushing my daughter in the stroller with my hands in a stationary position during my exercise. As a solution I started carrying her in an infant carrier and fell back in love with my Fitbit! However, after the birth of my second child this was no longer an option. I started researching for a Fitbit ankle strap or Fitbit ankle band but couldn't find anything that would work for me!
After our company The Step Counter was born, we initially only offered a really simply designed ankle band with a mesh pouch but have since that time gone back to the drawing board and had a complete redesign that is based on customer feedback from the first year of sales. We have enhanced the product's durability and it is more reliable than ever. We also now offer 3 sizes so that YOU can find the PERFECT FIT!
