• Formica sheet laminate, 459 Brite White, features a solid, bluish grey tinted off-white. A high gloss texture ideal for applications that require maximum smoothness and reflectance. Recommended for horizontal or vertical interior application. Available on all Solid Colors, Patterns and Woodgrains. All -90 Gloss items can be used as Dry-Erase Markerboard. Non directional texture.
• Vertical Grade is ideal for use on low wear surfaces such as cabinet faces and sides, doors, furniture, etc. It is a little thinner than standard grade and thus, a thinner line will be visible at the edges. Vertical Grade laminate is not recommended for countertops or any surface that will likely see a lot of use. Thickness’ can range from .027″ (0.7mm) nominal to .029″ (.7mm) nominal.
• Hot cookware can leave permanent burn marks on many countertop surfaces, including laminate, use a trivet, insulated hot pad or other protective device beneath all hot cookware, heat generating appliances, or other heated objects.
• Formica laminate, regardless of pattern and finish, should be treated and cared for in the same way: wash with a soft, clean cloth, water and mild soap, rinse well with water & dry thoroughly. A soft brush may help clean more heavily textured finishes. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, sandpaper, or scouring pads. Laminate finishes are designed last for a long time with proper care.
